Research: My project focuses on understanding the relationship between water and sequence defined peptoids. This includes the structure of peptoids in solution and the dynamics of water around those peptoids. Ultimately, this information will be useful in the design of specialized membranes.

Bio: I grew up in Wyoming and studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Wyoming. During my time there, I worked in Dr. Dongmei Li-Oakey’s lab on surface modification of polymeric membranes using mussel inspired polymers and titanium dioxide nanoparticles. Outside of research, I enjoy spending time outside and playing the piano.
