Research interests:
I am interested in leveraging dynamic electrostatic interactions to access new polymeric materials and properties. My current research focuses on electrostatically compatibilizing immiscible polymer blends.
Bio:
I am from rural southern Indiana. As an undergraduate, I studied Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago where I worked in the groups of Profs. Stuart Rowan and Shrayesh Patel. I investigated pluripotent dynamic covalent networks for tunable materials properties, and organic ionic plastic crystals for ion conduction. When not in the lab, I enjoy café hopping (Santa Barbara has many good roasteries) and exploring the Santa Ynez mountains.
