Research interests:
My research currently focuses on investigating the fundamental role of hydration on ion/solute transport in polymer materials. In particular, I am interested in bridging the physics of ion transport in dry and water swollen polymers to guide the rational design of highly selective membranes.

Bio:
I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 2016, after which I attended The University of Texas at Austin for my graduate studies. I completed my Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering under the supervision of Professor Benny Freeman from UT Austin in 2022, where my work primarily focused on studying ion and water transport in water swollen membrane materials (e.g., ion exchange membranes). I am currently a post-doc in Professor Rachel Segalman’s group and plan to pursue an academic career.
