Research interests:

My research leverages sequence-defined polypeptoids and advanced computational methods to explore how monomer sequences can impact polymer assembly.

Bio:

I grew up in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, and attended UPRM for my bachelor’s degree (another school near the ocean like UCSB). There, I researched nanoporous adsorbents for separation in aqueous systems. I have worked on other projects in the areas of sustainable polymer synthesis, medical-grade tissue adhesives, and MD simulations to understand water dynamics near surfaces. In my free time, you might find me dancing salsa, or cooking and baking while binging the Great British Bake-off.
