Research description and bio:
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. During my bachelor thesis we examined how other molecules that are present in senile plaques affected amyloid fibrils. The goal was to gain a better understanding for the compaction of amyloid fibrils that takes place in patients with Alzheimer's dementia. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Materials Chemistry and Nanotechnology at Chalmers.
During the summer I worked in the Segalman group within the CISEI program with Bhooshan Popere as my mentor. We investigated the kinetic self-assembly of block copolymers in solution and the directed self-assembly of the formed micelles in nanoscopic non-planar architechtures.
